The Öhlins STX36 Twin American V-Twin shock absorbers are designed to enhance performance and comfort on the road. From cruisers to café racers, these twin shocks are suitable for a variety of models. We offer emulsion, piggyback, hose, and inline versions of the shock, all tailor-made and tested to suit your bike.

These STX36 Twin American V-Twin shocks are made to fit the Harley-Davidson Sportster XL (2004–2022).

Featuring our proven monotube design and a high-pressure nitrogen gas-charged system, the shocks are equipped with external piggyback reservoirs, designed to keep the shocks cooler for consistent damping performance.

With adjustable compression and rebound damping, you can fine-tune the behavior of the shocks to suit your riding preferences. Spring preload can be adjusted with a billet tool to compensate for changes in weight, ensuring proper steering geometry. The shocks are also length-adjustable, allowing you to raise or lower your ride height without compromising suspension travel.

We offer multiple spring rates for the STX36 Twin shocks, giving you more tuning options to help you achieve the perfect setup on your Sportster.
