The Öhlins STX36 Twin American V-Twin shock absorbers are designed to enhance performance and comfort on the road. From cruisers to café racers, these twin shocks are suitable for a variety of models. We offer emulsion, piggyback, hose, and inline versions of the shock, all tailor-made and tested to suit your bike.

These STX36 Twin American V-Twin shocks are made to fit the Harley-Davidson Sportster XL (2004–2022).

Based on our STX monotube design, the shocks are equipped with a gas-pressurized damping system and external piggyback reservoirs. The advantage of having piggyback reservoirs is that they hold a larger volume of oil, keeping the shocks cooler for consistent damping performance under extreme conditions.

With adjustable spring preload, you can make adjustments for weight variations to help you maintain proper steering geometry. The shocks are also length-adjustable, allowing you to adjust the ride height and further customize your setup.
